The world leader of Rockhill Church and a Ghanaian gospel music stalwart Dr. Sonnie Badu has shared his resentments on a viral video of a man physically abusing a child of about 2yrs old.
Dr. Badu shared on his Instagram the following statement;
“I can’t play the full video as I’m already full of tears. @ghpoliceservice please arrest all three men! The one abusing the child, the one video it, and the one sitting down,”
In pursuant, a statement released yesterday by the Ghana Police service has placed a GH2,000 bounty on the man flogging the toddler in the viral video.
On the social pages of the service reads a post;
“The Police have sighted a horrifying video on social media in which a male adult is seen subjecting an infant to severe beating under a tree. Efforts are underway to track down the individual involved, have him arrested, and rescue the child. Because of the urgency associated with the matter, a reward of GH¢2,000.00 has been set aside for anyone who can provide credible information that could lead to the arrest of the individual and rescue of the child. Anyone with such information should contact the police on 0243809991”.
An arrest is yet to be made after the declaration by the Ghana Police Service. We encourage that should you come across any of the wanted persons in the video, kindly do not hesitate to inform the police.
