Ghanaian vocal powerhouse and spirit filled minstrel Obaapa Christy, who has been a blessing to many generations through her music and philanthropy has on the 21st of July,2022 launched her 20yrs in ministry event at the Tang Palace in Accra.
In attendance at the event were notable media personalities and gospel musicians who shared their experiences on working with the evergreen minstrel and the blessings they’ve received through that.
Obaapa recounted her journey through to the top by giving recognition to some legendary musicians in Ghana and abroad. She has to her name 12 albums ever since she started off as a gospel singer.
Obaapa Christy and management made known the outline for the celebration of her 20yrs in ministry. She will embark on a media tour and extend a helping hand to the less privileged through her Obaapa Christy Foundation. She will also spend time with traders and artisans in some notable markets in the capital city.
The final and climaxing day of the celebration will come off on the 4th of September at the UPSA auditorium in Accra.
Tickets are selling at 30cedis, 50cedis and 100cedis for the single, double and VIP slots respectively.
