The chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye during a sermon delivery on Pent Tv, a national terrestrial station of the Church of Pentecost in Ghana, disclosed how he couldn’t fund a reception at his wedding for people who came to witness the occasion.
In the sermon, the Apostle of the Church of Pentecost stated that God is interested in marriage irrespective of who is involved. He (God) takes an interest because marriage is his initiative.

Marriage is an institution that has come under scrutiny in recent years and has generated conversations and teachings from many including men of God.

The adoption of western culture of getting married has run a lot of young couples into various detrimental issues.
Apostle Nyamekye reiterated that Christians and most especially young Ghanaians who want to get married should consider marrying customarily because God is interested also in customary marriages.
He admonished that if one is financially unstable, they should choose to marry under ordinance or customs and allow a man of God to bless the marriage.
