The demise of a first fruit, A blow in the face of the church….
News has it that the first son of the founder and world leader of the Lighthouse Group of Churches(UDLGC) which was formerly known as Lighthouse Chapel International, Bishop Dag Heward- Mills has kicked the bucket on the 15th of April, 2022.
Dr. David Heward- Mills was reported dead after battling with a short illness in America where he lived and worked as a psychiatrist in Columbia, South Carolina.
The church in a statement released through it’s communication department stated ‘We, also as a church, are heartbroken, however, we stand with our leader and his family and believe God will comfort and see us through this very difficult season.’
The church has also emphasized that the family needs much more privacy and admonishes to make known all arrangements concerning his burial when the time is due.
Our deepest condolences goes out to the family and loved ones of the deceased one.
