It was a magnificent scene to behold on the 20th March 2022 at the Oil Dome Accra, Ghana where the young, vibrant, and spirit-filled minister of the gospel of Jesus, Nana Yaw Boakye popularly known in mainstream media as MoG lead thousands to the throne of grace in bewilderment.
The management and production of the new wine experience dubbed Koinonia 2022 drew thousands of worshippers of Jesus to his feet where Minstrels from all walks of life thrilled patrons with spontaneous heaven-dwelling tunes.
From singing old and soul thrilling songs to the recording of new and breathtaking lyrics, Heaven visited the earth, and this time, it was in the land of Africa, Ghana.
Ministrations were led by the affable Donnie McClurkin(U.S.A), Apostle General Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah(Ghana), Joe Mettle(Ghana), Akesse Brempong (Ghana), Daughters of Glorious Jesus(Ghana), Vicky Frimpong ( U.S.A) Japheth Adjetey ( Ghana), Ella Duncan Williams ( Ghana) and many other Spirit-filled ministers who lead the congregation into the Holies of Holies, God’s very mercy seat.
The support and prayers of other gospel musicians such as Ohemaa Mercy, Joyce Blessing, Empress Gifty Ardoye, Philippa Baafi, Ceccy Twum, Herty Corgie, Ruth Adjei, Achiaa Music, and a fleet of singers who trouped into the Dome cannot go unmentioned as they joined in with their gifts and creative abilities to lift the name of Jesus.
Social media and other digital spaces were dominated by hashtags of the Koinonia22. One commenter posted ‘At the end, Jesus is glorified. Men have drunk New wine. Thank You Jesus for showing up’.
The man of the moment, MoG in an Instagram post after the event wrote, ‘Thank You Lord for all you’ve done, you get the glory and the praise’.
It has been a beautiful experience this year and we hope to see much more beauty emanate soon in the lives of all who attended.
It was a meeting of saints and indeed heaven kissed the earth!
Glory to God.
