US-based Ghanaian gospel singer JaneRita has served up a brand new single “God of Miracle” featuring Afrobeat/highlife singer Kofi Kinaata.
JaneRita in this new release is encouraging everyone going through any unpleasant situation to hold on to their faith in God, for He is still in the Miracle working business and He will surely come through.
The ‘Things Fall Apart’ crooner on the other hand did not fail to live up to expectation as the groove and the Fante intense “God of Miracle” song perfectly fit his style and delivery.
Speaking about the reason for this feature, the ‘Ayeyi Ndwon’ singer stated that first of all she does not see secular musicians as people in darkness but it will be prudent to draw closer to people before you can conclude on the content of their character to make a decision.
She believes her choice of going for a colleague musician who is also a secular artiste from the Western Region where she hails from was based on the consistent positive message that has been churn out by the artiste over time which has impacted society positively.
Speaking to BeachFM, JaneRita also added that;
“When I finished the song I felt that Kofi Kinaata’s unique style on the project could also help to win souls for Christ, therefore I am glad to have him on board. Kofi Kinaata’s storyline on the “God of Miracle” sincerely did not even occur to me, it was so amazing, he said that if you have faith like master seed… that means he has a seed of God in him and I am so privileged God gave me the opportunity to get closer to him. When I got closer to him, I realized that there is a fear of God in him that is why it is always better not to judge a book by the cover but rather by its content. Some pastors even asked me if I wrote the lyrics for Kofi Kinaata, I said no, this should tell you a lot”.
