Multiple Award Winning Minstrel Diana Hamilton cautions fellow Upcoming and Mainstream Ministers to avoid a double standard living if they want their ministry to go far.
The “Mo Ne Yo” hitmaker made this statement on Pastor Edwin Dadson’s Zoom Meeting this Wednesday 19th August 2020. The said topic for discussion was “Knowing God and making Him known through your Music”.
The 2020 VGMA “Artiste of the Year” Nominee Diana Hamilton explained that we have some worship leaders who are very pious on stage and off the stage are either demons or something-in- between.
She also added that she has sat in meetings where you mention certain Ministers’ names and either everybody is walking away or turning their heads and if you ask what happened, they will tell you ‘oh she’s such a diva and we cannot handle her’.
She further added that getting one hit song as a minister should not make a gospel artiste arrogant and think that they have arrived and so when you are off the stage you’re a diva but on stage, you’re acting holy. We need to be like Jesus Christ who humbled himself even up to death.
In conclusion, she added that double standard living won’t take you far as a minister because it will wither, but if it’s single standard life that is (the life of Christ), what you see, Is what you get, you cannot lose on that.
